About Me

Hi, I'm Cate Marie. I'm a Pacific Northwesterner through and through (20+ years). I split my time between a moody 1936 Tudor in Portland and a cozy minimalist cottage on the Columbia River in Cathlamet. Two completely different homes. Two completely different aesthetics. Both totally me.

This matters because I don't push one "signature style" on everyone. I get it. Whether you need historic charm or modern clean or something in between. I work with how YOU live and what YOU love.  My weekly path follows the Columbia River corridor—Portland,  Ridgefield, Camas, Vancouver, out to the coastal towns. I recently refreshed a Camas home that was previously a Parade of Homes site. I'm renovating my own Tudor, balancing vintage charm with fresh elements. My cottage is a successful part-time Airbnb (five-star rated) that proves good design doesn't need unlimited budgets. I work across styles and eras, bringing warmth and character to historic homes, personality and depth to new construction, and creating vacation homes guests actually remember.  

Every project shares one thing: spaces with both soul and sophistication. Beautiful but livable. Elevated but never stuffy. Authentically yours. Based in Portland and SW Washington, serving the Pacific Northwest from the I-5 corridor to the coast.
